12 Day Tour Details


Itinerary
Day 1	Leave the U.S., arriving at Shannon Airport, Ireland
Day 2	Meet with your Drive/Guide and board your bus for the short journey to Bunratty Folk Park and Bunratty Castle visits. Rest for the afternoon. This evening we have either an Irish Evening of song, dance and music while enjoying a four-course dinner or subject to availability, a Medieval Banquet. Overnight in Shannon.
Day 3	We travel from Shannon to Killarney with stops in Limerick, Adare and the Crag Caves. We will overnight in Killarney.
Day 4	Today, we proceed on a tour of the famous Ring of Kerry.This is the most scenic coastal and mountain route in all of Europe. We return to Killarney for the evening.
Day 5	From Killarney, we travel to Cork and Blarney Castle and the Blarney Woollen Mills. We finish our tour of Cork with a visit to the Cobh Heritage Center. We return to Killarney for the night.
Day 6	We leave for Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel and then on to on to Kinnity Castle in County Offaly where we will spend the night.
Day 7	We depart the Castle for Dublin. Upon arriving, there will be a city tour that will include St. Patrick's Cathedral and Book of Kells at Trinity College. We will stay the night in Dublin. Dinner tonight is at your leisure.
Day 8	Today we travel West through the center of Ireland paying a visit to the Monastery at Kells. Then on to Boyle and Sligo. We will stop at the grave of the poet W.B. Yeats. We continue on to Donegal Town, the home of tweed manufacturing in Ireland. We will tour the famous Donegal Parian China factory. We will overnight in Sligo.
Day 9	Today, we visit Carrowmore Megalithic site then on to Knock and Ballintubber Abbey. We will spend the night in Galway.
Day 10	Today we tour the Connemara region of West Galway with stops at Clifden, the Connemara Marble Factory, the Celtic Crystal Factory and Kylemore Abbey. We return to Galway for the evening.
Day 11	We depart Galway for a stop in Thoor Ballylee and Coole Park. We will continue on through the Burren region of Co.Clare and then to the Cliffs of Moher. We will overnight in Shannon.
Day 12	Depart for Shannon Airport for the return journey to the U.S.
